Cruises for scuba diving and snorkelling

For qualified scuba divers, a great way of exploring the Caribbean underwater is with the New Waves programme from Princess Cruises. You can also learn to scuba dive or enjoy guided snorkelling tours.

New Waves snorkelling and scuba club is available on most ships on most itineraries. Please enquire for the latest information.

If you are interested in becoming a qualified diver, you can do your full PADI* on board. By pre-enrolling, you can study the course material before your cruise so that you are well prepared. Or you can do the academics and pool work before your cruise at your local dive centre and obtain a student referral. This is the most popular way as you do not have any studying to do whilst on holiday but you do your four open water dives in the warm waters of the Caribbean.

For more information about any New Waves programmes, please visit www.newwaves.com as there are some important considerations relating to age guidelines and medical conditions. Certain medical conditions may limit or prevent your safe participation in New Waves activities. For information about bookings and pre-enrolling, contact us at Fairwaves for more information as we are qualified divers and would be pleased to advise you.

* The Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The New Waves programme is endorsed by PADI, the largest recreational diving training organisation in the world.
