For golf with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, it is recommended that you contact the courses you want to play prior to leaving home. In this way, you can book your tee times or check course availability for the date you will be in that port. If pre-booking tee times, please remember to add at least 1 hour in addition to the transfer time to reach the course, to allow for the ship's clearance and debarkation procedures. If the ship is at anchor, additional time may be required. Be sure to allow sufficient time to return prior to the ship’s sailing time. Once on board, you should advise the Tour Staff as early as possible about your pre-arranged golf excursions in order that they may assist you in securing transfers to the course.
RSSC does not hold tee times at any courses, but the Travel Concierge and Tour Staff can assist in booking tee times for you once on board subject to availability. Payments are made directly to the course. It is worth noting that this onboard service allows guests to personalise their shore excursions in many different ways – from hiring mountain bikes in some ports to vintage cars in others!
You should advise the Tour Staff or Travel Concierge at the time of making a golf reservation whether you would need to rent clubs or not. These are subject to availability. For guests bringing their own golf clubs, they may be stored by the vessel on request and will be delivered to the gangway in ports where you register to play golf. Golf courses may require handicap certificates and it is suggested that you bring yours along with you. RSSC cannot accept any liability should a course impose handicap restrictions. Please note that prices are subject to change. Individual rates may be quoted in US dollar or local currency. Green fees often vary by season and day of the week.
Please be aware that you may need local currency and encounter language difficulties if venturing independently.
There are practice nets on all RSSC ships.
